Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet kiss at Oscars after 'touching sacrifice'
Kylie Jenner made her Oscars debut on Sunday night as she supported boyfriend Timothe?e Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor for his role in A Complete Unknown
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner looked loved-up at the 97th Academy Awards. Timothée walked the red carpet with his mum, before Kylie joined him inside Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre on Sunday night. The pair, who have been dating for almost two years, have attended multiple award shows together this season and remained close throughout the opening sequence of the ceremony as Timothée prepared for one of the biggest nights of his career.
Nominated for the Best Actor gong for his Bob Dylan portrayal in A Complete Unknown, Timothée turned heads at the event in a dashing butter-yellow Givenchy suit—a nod to the film's '60s vibe—which was a standout amidst the typical black-tie affair. Kylie avoided the red carper so the actor made his entrance with mom Nicole Flender, before being joined by Kylie inside.

While she did not walk the carpet with Timothée, the two looked loved-up as they sat beside each other, kissing and holding hands. Fans online were quick to ship the couple, with one admirer posting on X (formerly Twitter): "I can't breathe, they're the IT couple," and another swooning over how "they are so in love!"
While Timothée's nomination made him one of the evening's most closely watched stars, Kylie's attendance also turned heads, especially as it was her first public outing since the recent loss of her close friend and long-term hairstylist, Jesús Guerrero, reports the Mirror.

A Complete Unknown, the James Mangold-helmed biopic charting Bob Dylan's early career, was a heavyweight contender at the 2025 Oscars with multiple nods. Alongside Timothée Chalamet's Best Actor nomination for his portrayal of the folk icon, the film bagged nominations for Best Picture, Best Director for Mangold, and Best Supporting Actor for Edward Norton, who played a pivotal role in Dylan's ascent to stardom.
The film also clinched nominations in technical categories, including Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
Adrien Brody beat Timothée to take home the leading actor gong for The Brutalist, a film about a Jewish-Hungarian architect who flees the horrors of the Second World War for a better life in the US.

On stage, Brody said he felt “so fortunate” adding: “Acting is a very fragile profession. It looks very glamorous and (at) certain moments it is, but the one thing that I’ve gained, having the privilege to come back here, is to have some perspective.”
As music played him off stage mid-speech, he added: “I’m here once again to represent the lingering traumas and the repercussions of war and systematic oppression and of antisemitism and racism and of othering and I pray for a healthier and a happier and a more inclusive world.”
