Former singer for the hit band Chic, Alfa Anderson, sadly passed away on December 17th at 78 years old.
From an early age, the parents of Alfa Anderson knew she loved music. At just three years old, she composed her first song. The years that followed watched Anderson continue to explore a career in music. Anderson eventually found her way into the band Chic. Taking over for Norma Jean Wright, the singer had worked with Chic before on their debut albums. And over the years, Chic was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 11 times.
