Lewis Capaldi was recently spotted taking a winter walk in London's Hampstead Heath, dressed warmly in a black puffer jacket and joggers.
This outing comes after his decision in 2023 to pause his music career to focus on his mental health and manage his Tourette Syndrome. During a performance at Glastonbury, Capaldi openly discussed his struggles, raising awareness about his condition.
Lewis announced last June that he needed to take a break away from his job to focus on himself. On June 6, 2023, he said he was going to take time out to rest and recover after a "mentally and physically" challenging few months - cancelling all shows and gigs he had been scheduled to play over the next three weeks.

EROTEME.CO.UK)In a statement, Lewis said: "I need to take a moment to rest and recover, to be at my best and ready for Glastonbury and all the other incredible shows coming up, so that I'm able to continue doing what I love for a long time to come. I need to take these three weeks to be Lewis from Glasgow for a bit, spend some time with my family and friends and do normal life things that are an important part of me feeling better." Lewis then returned to play on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
Lewis has been open about his struggle with Tourette’s syndrome after going public with his diagnosis in September 2022. Just months later, Lewis revealed his condition had worsened and he was struggling to control his tics while performing, acknowledging there could come a day when he'd have to quit music because of it.
The singer announced in 2023 that he was taking an 'indefinite break' to work on his 'mental and physical health.' “The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier," he told fans in a statement.

Instagram)At the Geordie Shore launch, Paige gave an update on her ex's career and health, telling The Sun: "The last time I saw him was a couple of months ago because we were both out for one of our friends’ birthday parties, and he’s doing much better in himself. It was really nice to see him and he’s doing well - I don’t know if he’s writing, but he’s doing much better in himself.”
She added: “I obviously grew up with him so to see him in a low place has been difficult. It’s difficult because he’s been so under pressure as a global super star and I feel like the pressure has scared him a lot maybe. But I’ll say he really does seem like he’s in a much better place now.”
Paige Turley and Lewis Capaldi began their relationship during their college years, dating for over a year before parting ways. Their split was reportedly due to Turley's infidelity with one of Capaldi's close friends. Capaldi's hit song "Someone You Loved" was widely believed to be about Turley. However, he clarified that the song was actually inspired by his late grandmother.
Despite their breakup, Turley has expressed support for Capaldi's well-being. She mentioned that they met a few months ago at a friend's birthday party, and he appeared to be in a much better place.
