Kate Cassidy, the girlfriend of late One Direction star Liam Payne, became emotional as she opened up on her grief journey with ITV's Lorraine.

The former girlfriend of late One Direction star Liam Payne fought back tears as she opened up on her grief since the singer's sudden death. The star fell to his death aged 31 back in October and now his other half, Kate Cassidy, has shared the impact that it has had on her.
Appearing on ITV's Lorraine, Kate shared that she is taking part in the show's March 4 March campaign - due to the fact that the number four has a symbolic meaning to her and she feels that Liam has been sending her messages urging her to help other people. She told the Scottish host: "I think that this campaign speaks volumes to me."
She added that she wants to help people "feel less alone" as they get through grief and healing as she explained that the number four in the campaign really drew her to it. Kate explained: "To people that aren't too familiar with the number four, it's mine and Liam's angel number which symbolises love and support from angels.
"I believe that Liam, in a weird way, guided me to this campaign and wanted me to be involved in this and to help other people. I believe that is what he would have wanted me to do."
She added: "Everytime I see the number four, I know that he is right there with me."
