Liverpool fans demand Michael Oliver sacking after controversial calls in pulsating Everton draw
Thursday night's match ended 2-2 in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park
Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to call for Michael Oliver to be sacked following Thursday night's 2-2 draw with Everton.
James Tarkowski netted at the death after earlier goals from Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Beto to earn a point for the home side in the last Merseyside derby to be played at Goodison Park.
There was plenty of drama on the night, with some Liverpool fans unhappy that Tarkowski's goal was allowed to stand.
Others were aggrieved by Oliver's decision to dismiss Arne Slot after full time, with the pair having a tense discussion on the pitch.

And Liverpool fans have now called for Oliver to be sacked, with supporters unhappy with his decision-making on the night.
"Michael Oliver needs to be sacked. Heās ruined too many game this season," said one user.
A second fumed: "Still raging to be fair! The problem is thereās no consequences for Michael Oliver. If I made that many mistakes in my job Iād be sacked!!"
Another said: "Michael Oliver should be sacked from Premier League @premierleague."

A fourth fumed: "@FA_PGMOL are a complete joke. If anyone in any other field or industry was as bad as Michael Oliver is at their job, theyād be reprimanded or sacked ages ago. No bottle, just ruining the game for the whole premier league with their terrible officiating. Whatās the point anymore."
And a fifth hit out by saying: "Need to see Michael Oliver sacked, like right now."
The Premier League, however, are standing by Oliver.
They released a statement backing his decision to dish out four red cards at the end of the match, saying: "The referee issued second yellow cards and red cards to Curtis Jones and Abdoulaye DoucourƩ following an altercation after the final whistle.

"Arne Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff were also shown straight red cards after the final whistle."
Liverpool fans aren't the only set of supporters unhappy with Oliver's performances this season.
Arsenal followers have also vented their fury at the official and his decision-making, especially after Myles Lewis-Skelly was recently sent off in a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Some crossed the line after that controversial call, with Oliver and his family the subject of vile death threats from nasty trolls.

Others have taken to social media to suggest Oliver is a Manchester City fan.
However, that's totally incorrect given the 39-year-old's favourite team is actually Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has taken aim at Oliver following the match - accusing the official of having a 'big part' in the contest.
"Obviously it is very disappointing to lose it in the last second of the game - or even over extra-time," he said.

"Listen, it is what it is. It's not easy to accept it, especially in the manner how, but we take it and move on.
"It was over extra-time. I think the referee had a big part in the game today in terms of certain challenges, giving a foul or similar didn't, but in the end it is just disappointing to concede.
"A very good strike, actually, but a disappointing one."
