London station revealed to have fewer uses than some rural village stops
Only 18,680 entries and exits were made at London’s emptiest station between March 2023 and March 2024
Liverpool Street station has kept its crown as the busiest train station in the country, with 94.5 million entries and exits being made by passengers at the station in the 12 months to March 2024.The figures have been released by the Office of Rail and Road, and show an increase of 14.1 million journeys made through the station, which is served by the Elizabeth Line, the London overground and Greater Anglia services.
