Love Island has produced a string of marriages and children – but also heartbreaking splits. In recent days, it's emerged that Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page had called time on their relationship just three years after appearing on the show.
The show helps young singles find love, and while many people couple up on the show, it's not always plain sailing when they leave the villa and return to normal life. Indeed, the show has spawned many a bitter spat and break-up and according to new data, the odds are stacked against them.
QR Code Generator has analysed the success rate of the most popular dating shows in the UK and the US to reveal the shows that contestants are statistically most likely to find love on. Love Island UK placed 11th in a list of 17, where out of a total of 352 contestants, just 13 couples have remained in a relationship to the latest date, which marks a lowly success rate of 7.4 percent.
90 Day Fiancé UK came out on top, with a success rate of 53.3 percent, while Married at First Sight UK came out with a success rate of 12.8 percent. A spokesperson for QR Code Generator explained: "Reality dating shows are a favourite among fans where what happens after the show is equally important to what happens on the screen. Viewers are interested in the relationship statuses of the couples that formed connections on dating shows, finding out if there has been progress or a breakup, with social media making this much easier.

"With Love Island providing a platform for hopeful singles to 'couple up' and fall in love, it is great to follow along the journeys of those who have continued their relationship into moving in with each other, marriage, and starting families." It emerged on Monday night that series eight stars Tasha Ghouri and her boyfriend Andrew Le Page had become the latest couple to call it quits. Tasha reportedly joined exclusive app Raya and included photos that she had previously shared on Instagram in December.
"Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly," a source told the Sun. "She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by."
Tasha will be away from Andrew again as she heads out on the Strictly tour and the couple are said to have "talked about ending their relationship at the start of January". The source said the pair "hit a rocky patch". Tasha had previously called Andrew her "future husband" and insisted she wasn't worried about the infamous Strictly curse.
