Macaulay Culkin Shares His Sweet Reaction to Brother Kieran Culkin's Oscar Win

Macaulay Culkin is so loyal to brother Kieran Culkin that the only 2025 Oscars moment he watched was his younger siblingâs win!
Macaulay and wife Brenda Song stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party where they shared their reaction to Kieran winning the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in A Real Pain. âThe Best Supporting Actor [is] the only thing I watched,â Macaulay told Tan France on the Vanity Fair red carpet livestream. âTrue story, true story.â

And I was like, âIâm gonna see you later.'â But, he wasnât 100% sure when heâd be able to catch up with Kieran, adding, âHeâs busy. Heâs an award-winning actor.â
Never one to take things too seriously, Macaulay joked that he knew his brother would win as soon as he saw where he was sitting in the audience. âHe was front row aisle, closest to the stairs,â he said. âThere was no way he was not going to win.â
Kieran was the nightâs first winner, beating out A Complete Unknown star Edward Norton, The Brutalist star Guy Pearce and The Apprentice star Jeremy Strong.
His hilarious speech dredged up a promise his wife made to him to have more kids which means Macaulay and Songâs two sons might have more cousins on the way soon.
âA year ago, I said that I wanted a third kid, because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid. Turns out she said that because she didnât think I was going to win,â he said of wife Jazz Charton. âAnyway, after the show, weâre walking through a parking lot. Sheâs holding the Emmy and she goes, âOh, god, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid.â
âI turned to her and said, âReally, I want four.â And she turned to me â I swear to god this happened â and said, âI will give you four when you win an Oscar.â I held my hand out, she shook it and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey?â
âThen I just have to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith, no pressure,â he joked. âI love you. Iâm really sorry I did this again. And letâs get cracking on those kids. What do you say? I love you. I love. I love you.â
