Madonna's Fans React As She Makes A Political Statement About 'Fascism' Becoming The 'Norm'
Madonna makes a powerful statement about her political views with a new Instagram post but her fans are left feeling divided.
Madonna has made no secret of her disdain for President Trump and how she believes his reelection has been a step backward for American politics. The “Material Girl” singer has always been outspoken and never one to shy away from tough topics, but her views on the Trump administration have divided fans.
Madonna’s most recent comments came just hours ago when she posted a throwback photo of herself on Instagram. She uses the social media platform, where she boasts 19.8 million followers, to share her views with fans, and she does not mince words with her hard-hitting words about Fascism. She also expressed a lack of hope. “Here I am, a young woman filled with a sense of purpose and many dreams,” she captioned the post, referring to her younger self. “It was my first year of living in New York, a dangerous place, promising me everything and nothing. I had no idea that I would one day be living here in a time where Fascism would become Banal and the. Norm.”

Madonna has previously expressed her shock at President Trump gaining power, referring to him in an earlier Instagram post from November 2024 as a “convicted felon, rapist, bigot.” More recently, she expressed deep sadness through a message to X when she blasted Trump for his treatment of the LGBT community.
“It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years,” she wrote before ending her message by encouraging fans to continue the fight.
Although not everyone will agree with Madonna, her comments create a vital discussion around politics and show the importance of standing up for what you believe in.
