tvN has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming drama âWhen the Stars Gossipâ!
âWhen the Stars Gossipâ will tell the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who has arrived with a secret mission.
The new trailer begins with Gong Ryong heading to space, where Eve Kim announces, âThis is the space station.â The expedition that Gong Ryong has joined involves research using fruit flies and lab mice, and Eve Kim gets emotional as she watches over an experiment, saying, âThis is an incredible moment in which life is being created.â
While scientists like Kang Kang Soo (Oh Jung Se) are hard at work on their research, newcomer Gong Ryong struggles to adapt to zero gravity. In order to prevent him from causing an accident, Eve Kim sternly warns him, âDonât touch anything and just stay put,â but itâs too lateâGong Ryong is already exploring every last inch of the space station.
However, it turns out that thereâs a reason for Gong Ryongâs behavior. Although he joined the expedition under the pretense of being a tourist, he is actually searching for something as part of a secret mission. Grabbing Kang Kang Soo by the collar, Gong Ryong reveals, âI didnât come here for sightseeing.â
Eve Kim begins to suspect that something is off and resolves to âuncover everything,â but Gong Ryong remains determined. As tensions rise, Eve Kim asks, âDo you want to die? Iâm going to send you back to Earth no matter what.â Undeterred, Gong Ryong declares, âIâm not going home empty-handed.â
