A probe was launched in November after Mr McGregor made a complaint to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) after he became aware of the clips showing him and his partner Dee Devlin at a holiday home in Rostrevor, Co Down.

The footage is understood to feature the former Mixed Martial Arts champion during an intimate moment with Ms Devlin. It was filmed from outside the luxury property he was renting while spending time with Ms Devlin and their children.

The family spent a number of days at the Co Down property during a weekend break in the legal proceedings taken against Mr McGregor by hairdresser Nikita Hand.

McGregor was ordered pay Ms Hand €250,000 after she claimed McGregor raped her in a Dublin hotel in 2018.

The Irish News reports today that the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed interviewing a Co Down man this week in relation to the footage.

“A 20-year-old man voluntarily attended Ardmore station on Monday, January 27, for interview in relation to a report of voyeurism in the Rostrevor area in November 2024,” a spokeswoman said.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

Solicitor Gavin Booth, of Phoenix Law, told the Irish Independent that he represents “the person who was accused of taking a video of Conor McGregor in an intimate act with his partner”.

“We can confirm that our client strenuously denies all these allegations and did so at interview,” Mr Booth said.

“We contend that there is no evidence to link our client to these offence and fully expect our client’s name to be vindicated.”

Mr Booth added that he would “advise caution to anyone speculating that our client was involved”.

In an earlier statement, the PSNI said they “received a report of voyeurism concerning a man and woman in the Rostrevor area at approximately 12.35am on Tuesday morning, November 12.”

Mr McGregor’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
