Mandy Moore's Family Is Staying With Hilary Duff After Losing Home to L.A. Wildfires
Mandy Moore's brother in law, Griffin Goldsmith, revealed that she and husband Taylor Goldsmith have been staying with Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma after losing their home to the Los Angeles wildfires.
Mandy Moore's family was among the long list of people who have lost almost everything to the wildfires in California, with the actress revealing that her home had not survived in an emotional post shared to her Instagram on January 8. In the time since, Moore revealed that she, her husband Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children have been staying with a friend—and now fans know who.
Taylor's brother, Griffin Goldsmith, told Instagram how he and his family have been holding up in light of losing their homes, and shared that a famous actress opened up her own home to Moore and his brother while they attempt to get back on their feet in the coming weeks.

"Our dear friends @matthewkoma and @hilaryduff thought it wise to set up a gofundme for us to help with everything moving forward. Not to mention they are currently housing my brother’s [Taylor] family," Griffin wrote in his Instagram update, shared on January 13. "They’ve taken care of my entire family from the moment this began. I will never be able to thank them adequately. This is the kindest act any human could do for another. They are the most beautiful, selfless people we’ve ever known."

In Moore's January 8 Instagram post, she told her followers that her home was completely "leveled" from the fires and said “I am devastated and gutted for those of us who’ve lost so much. I’m absolutely numb.”
In a longer update post, Moore added, "I love you, Altadena. Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets)."

"Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family. My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too," she continued. "Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together. Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control."
