Meghan Markle honors the late Princess Diana during her latest family leisure break, cozying up in an iconic Northwestern sweater. The late Princess of Wales had some iconic fashion moments that remain a wardrobe staple to date. From her memorable gingham pants and oversized sweater to the iconic revenge dress, the People’s Princess kept the fashion world buzzing with ideas for years. Decades after her death, Diana’s daughter-in-laws Kate Middleton and Meghan have taken style inspiration from her on occasions, proving how much they rever her.
The Duchess of Sussex rocked another iconic outfit in Princess Diana’s honor this weekend during a play date with her kids. Taking to social media on Sunday, Meghan Markle shared a video of her strolling around their Montecito estate in a purple sweater from her alma mater, Northwestern University in Illinois. Royal fans were quick to spot the resemblance between the iconic outfit and a purple sweater once owned by the late Princess of Wales nearly thirty years ago.

The piece quickly became one of the late Princess’ go-to wardrobe items, as she was spotted wearing it severally on gym outings.
Meghan Markle also spotlighted one of her kids in a video on her Instagram stories. The clip featured Meghan watering the garden under the warm California sun, when a tiny hand, possibly belonging to Prince Archie or Princess Lilibeth, reached out playfully to take the hose, saying “Mummy I can do it if you want me to.” The adorable clip also captured Meghan squeezing an orange into a glass, with Prince Harry giggling in the background. She captioned the sweet family rendezvous,
“Small break from work to soak in the weekend ☀️.”
Indeed, Meghan Markle has kept busy promoting her upcoming Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, while putting things in place for the grand launch of her lifestyle rebrand on the same day. The star announced the rebrand last week, explaining she chose the new name, As Ever because she realized the previous American Riviera Orchard would limit her to only products sourced within her local community. However, fans have since slammed the duchess for seemingly gaslighting the public with her false claims, when the world obviously knew her long-prevailing trademark issues with ARO prompted the change.
Similarly, several parties have accused Meghan Markle of plagiarism, including a small US clothing brand named As Ever, and the Mayor of Porrerres, who claims the star’s As Ever logo copied her town’s coat of arms. Despite the many controversies surrounding the upcoming launch, Meghan looks impressively calm and relaxed as she focused on the things that truly mattered, family, in her latest Instagram post.
The comedian was more passionate than usual, tearing into Elon Musk's DOGE and President Joe Biden's reforms he said didn't go far enough. The dramatic scene led to him injuring himself.
