Meghan Markle, Drew Barrymore Share Awkward Moment After Barrymore Shows Her A Childhood Photo With Princess Diana: “That’s Really Special”

Meghan Markle paid a visit to The Drew Barrymore Show, where she and the actress had the opportunity to gush over her relationship with Prince Harry, her new Netflix show, and Barrymoreâs touching childhood memory of Princess Diana on Thursday (March 6).
Markle â who is promoting her new lifestyle series With Love, Meghan â was leading Drew Barrymore through a cooking segment when the 50 First Dates star surprised the Duchess of Sussex with a photo of her meeting Princess Diana at the 1982 London premiere E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
âOh, how sweet. Oh, thatâs beautiful,â Markle said as she and Barrymore looked over the photo. âOh my gosh. Look at your little face! Oh, thatâs so sweet. That is so special that you had it here. Oh!â The photo showed Barrymore at seven years old presenting Princess Diana with an E.T. stuffed animal.
âI was lucky enough,â Barrymore began to say as she held the photo.
âThatâs really special,â Markle commented.
Barrymore continued, âIt means so much to me to have met such an incredible human being that transcended everything. It was the honor of my life.â
Photo: CBSThey then shared a bit of an awkward moment when Barrymore could not contain her excitement. âOh my gosh, well, I will tell H that for sure,â Markle responded, referring to her husband Prince Harry.
âOkay, cool,â Barrymore excitedly replied.
The ladies shared another hilarious moment when Barrymore told Markle that she and Prince Harry have become known for how âhotâ they are for each other.
âEvery time I ever know anyone who ever knows you guys talk about how hot â this is the keyword. Everyone. And they are different people from different walks of lives,â Barrymore began to say, while Markle nervously asked the audience with a laugh, âWhat is she about to say?â
But Barrymore continued, âThey go, âTheyâre so hot for each other.'â
With a giggle, Markle began gushing over her partner, âI did not expect to meet H and for this to be our love story. Iâm very lucky Iâm married to the funniest, sweetest, most charming ⦠and heâs an amazing father. I count my blessings because I have him.â
