Meghan Markle Masters Cold Weather Dressing in Winter White Puffer Coat
Meghan Markle mastered cold weather dressing in a puffer coat during the Invictus Games 2025.
Meghan Markle, known for her California aesthetic, is giving a masterclass in winter dressing while in Canada for the latest iteration of Prince Harryâs Invictus Games.
On February 10, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled from Vancouverâwhere theyâd been since late last weekâto Whistler for a very important reason: to welcome winter sports to the Invictus Games for the first time. The Games, which have been in existence since 2014, are expanding their reach to winter sports while in Canada, and the couple took part in the Whistler Welcoming Ceremony and watched competitors take part in the skeleton event on Monday.

For the occasion, What Meghan Wore reported that Meghan wore a favorite Canadian coat brand, Mackageâspecifically the brandâs Calina Lustrous down maxi coatâover a black mock turtleneck and black jeans. She also sported a beanie from Hat Attack, a brand What Meghan Wore reported sheâs worn often over the years. Her Sorel waterproof bootsâin the âJoan of Arcticâ styleâwere paired with Moncler padded gloves, which What Meghan Wore reported she wore on a ski trip last year with friends.
Meghan has been giving an up close and personal look into this yearâs Games following her return to Instagram in January after seven years away from the platform. The Duchess of Sussex has been documenting her behind the scenes experience through Instagram Stories, including Meghan leading a story time session with kids, a visit to the Squamish Nation, and Michael BublĂ©âs performance at the Whistler Welcoming Ceremony. Her first official post to her Instagram Story, according to People? A video of Harry grooving to the song âDancing with Myselfâ on February 8 before joining Team Canada for a group photo.

In an impromptu speech on February 7, Meghan spoke of Harry, telling competitors âyou are his family,â and adding that the Invictus Games âmeans so muchâ to her husband.
âI hope you recognize how much of his heart he has poured into every single beat that has gotten all of you to this week thatâs going to be spectacular,â she said. âI need you to know that, how much it means to him and how much each of you mean to him.â

In his own remarks, Harry said, âOver the past decade Iâve lost count of the times weâve heard you tell us that the Invictus Games saved you. Respectfully, I disagree. Invictus didnât save you. You saved yourself.â
The Games continue through the weekend, with no doubt more examples in store of how Meghanâwho previously lived in both Canada and the U.K. before returning to her home state of California in 2020âhasnât forgotten how to dress for frigid temperatures.
