Meghan Markle Reveals What Her “Love Language” Is on New Netflix Show
Meghan Markle revealed what her "love language" is in her new Netflix show, 'With Love, Meghan.'
While maybe not as revealing as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Meghan’s latest offering for the streaming service still helps the public learn more about the Duchess of Sussex—in a different way.
For example, twice in With Love, Meghan (which dropped on March 4) Meghan says that feeding people is her “love language.” It comes up as early as the first episode, when she tells longtime friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin how to make a “family favorite” recipe of “single skillet spaghetti,” to which Martin says, “You’ve always shown your love through food.”
“It’s a big love language,” Meghan says in response.
Later, in the sixth episode, she reiterates, “I love feeding people. I think it’s probably my love language.”

In a clip from the show shared on March 3, Meghan arranges a fruit platter into a rainbow, saying, “You don’t have to do a big platter like this. You could do one small row [of each] for your kids for breakfast, genuinely, and it makes the morning a lot more fun.”
She adds in the teaser, “It’s a real delight in being able to be a present parent. It’s a luxury sometimes, because we all have to work, we all have a lot of stuff to do. But when you can take a minute to just [enjoy a Saturday morning]...finding the fun in those moments makes for a really sweet start to the weekend.”
“It doesn’t have to be for a big party,” she continued. “It’s how we incorporate these practices every day.”

If you’re looking to replicate Meghan’s fruit platter prowess, here’s a breakdown: strawberries and raspberries are used for the red color; orange mandarins and kumquats make up the orange part of the rainbow; then yellow pineapple, green kiwi, and blueberries make up the remainder of the arc.
“If this brings you joy, wait until you see all the episodes of With Love, Meghan dropped on @Netflix at midnight tonight!” Meghan wrote alongside the snippet. “The wait is almost over.”
On the show itself, Meghan reveals, “I wake up every morning and take a lot of pride in making breakfast for my family.” She adds, “Mornings are fast. Gotta get the kids to school.”
She then shares her husband Harry’s potential favorite breakfast food: “I find when I'm cooking bacon, my kitchen very immediately becomes full of husband and three dogs,” Meghan said. “It's not my perfume that’s bringing them all in it,” she continues, singing, “My bacon brings all the boys to the yard,” to the tune of “Milkshake” by Kelis.

And while Meghan’s love language is food, Harry is apparently a good cook too, especially the aforementioned morning meal, as Meghan said Harry can make a “really good breakfast.”
