Meghan Markle Says She and Husband Prince Harry Are Back in a “Honeymoon Period” in Their Marriage
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in a "honeymoon period" in their marriage, Meghan said in a new interview ahead of the release of her Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan.'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary in May, but Meghan says they are still in their “honeymoon period.”
Referencing her former lifestyle blog The Tig—which Meghan launched in 2014 and shuttered in 2017, not long before she and Harry announced their engagement—Meghan told People in a new interview published March 3, “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me.”
“It’s almost like a honeymoon period again, because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it,” she continued. “I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”

She added of closing the blog as she prepared to become a full-time working royal upon their marriage, “Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more. So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”
Another pursuit she’s been picking up again with gusto? Yoga, a longtime favorite hobby of the Duchess of Sussex.

“I go to [yoga] classes that sometimes have 40 to 50 people in them and just walk in like, ‘Hi!’” she told People. “Of course, at the beginning, that felt like a lot. By the way, I think anybody walking into a yoga class with 50 people and everyone looks up, it’s going to feel a little uncomfortable!”
Now, though, she added, “I love it. It’s the best. I had missed it.”
