Meghan Markle Shares Sweet Card from Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Ahead of ‘With Love’ Release
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, along with dad Prince Harry, sent Meghan Markle flowers and a sweet handwritten card ahead of her 'With Love, Meghan' release on Netflix.

Meghan Markle is in New York City right now, but back at home in California, her family has her on their minds.
On March 3—the eve of the premiere of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan—the Duchess of Sussex shared an Instagram Story showing a bouquet of flowers with a sweet card from kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet and husband Prince Harry.

“Congratulations mumma!” the handwritten note read. “We love your show, and we love you!” The heartfelt card was signed by Lili, Archie, and “Papa,” which is Archie and Lili’s nickname for dad Harry.

Though Archie and Lili don’t play a role in her eight-part series, they’re never far from her mind—and sometimes ended up on set. The show wasn’t filmed in the family’s Montecito, California home, but rather at a nearby rental, though People reported that Meghan did find ways to incorporate their home into the show, filming in their garden, orchard, and chicken coop.
“Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments,” Meghan told People in a cover story interview that was released on March 3. “They would also come with my husband and visit me on set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share. It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.”

In an episode of With Love, Meghan filmed with chef Roy Choi, Meghan shared an anecdote about Lilibet, and how the 3-year-old would begin to dance when she tasted food she enjoyed: “I realize my daughter likes something she’s eating, she starts to sway a little bit,” Meghan told Choi.
In addition to being mentioned in With Love, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have made some appearances on Meghan’s recently relaunched Instagram lately, including on Valentine’s Day. Lilibet also made the homepage of Meghan’s new lifestyle brand As Ever’s website, walking hand-in-hand with her mother, matching in white and barefoot in front of a stunning landscape.

“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story—Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that—but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” Meghan told People. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy, too.”
As for Archie, Meghan told People that she enjoys “day dates” with her son: “Archie and I like to go and have lunch, share a burger and a Caesar salad, and have an ice cream sundae with two cherries on top,” Meghan told the publication.
Meghan told the outlet that she makes breakfast for her family, and that the kids’ favorite dish is “surprise” pancakes, called as such because “They don’t know what’s going to be on the other side when it flips over,” she said, adding that she chooses from rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips, or blueberries in the shape of a smiley face.

“Of course they love jam and fresh fruit preserves, because they were such a part of me making them and picking all that fruit during berry season for all of our canning,” Meghan added. “My husband and Archie both love fried eggs. There’s a lot of bacon around here. And then sometimes you don’t have time for all that, and you just put a frozen waffle in the toaster and call it a day. And there’s no shame in that, either.”
Lilibet likely got her love for dancing from the music always playing in their home. “We turn the music on before the lights,” Meghan told People. “One of the stations I love so much is called Mom Jeans. Now even Lili asks, ‘Can we listen to Mama Jeans?’” (Archie’s favorite song, by the way, is “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons, according to the outlet.)

Before she shared a photo of her family’s handwritten card atop an arrangement of white and pink flowers, Meghan shared footage of herself surprising a group of longtime fans of Meghan’s former lifestyle blog The Tig, which launched in 2014 and closed in 2017. The Duchess of Sussex stunned the women when she arrived at a Manhattan screening of With Love, Meghan, and afterwards was handed bracelets for Archie and Lilibet, which was captured on Meghan’s Instagram Story.
“These are tiny, are these for Archie and Lili? Oh, sweet!” Meghan said in the March 3 clip.
