Meghan Markle Thankful Netflix Postponed New Cooking Show Amid California Fires
The former Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Netflix are postponing the release date of her new show due to the wildfires.
Meghan Markle thanked Netflix for agreeing to postpone her new lifestyle and cooking show due to the California fires.
Thatâs according to a statement released by Netflix, which quoted the Duchess of Sussex as saying, âIâm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.â
Prince Harry and Meghan live in Montecito, California. Meghanâs new Netflix show will run for eight episodes and is called, âWith Love, Meghan.â The release date is now March 4, according to Netflix.
People Magazine reported that the couple live about 90 miles from Los Angeles. They were photographed visiting the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena, California, âto help distribute food and supplies to victims of the Eaton Fireâ on January 10, according to People.
According to People, Meghan and Harry âdonated essential supplies, served meals with World Central Kitchen and connected with affected families and elderly individuals.â
According to Netflix, the show was supposed to premiere in January, but it will now stream on March 4.
Netflix describes the program as âa heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California.â

According to Netflix, some celebrities join Meghan on the show.
âIn each episode, we join Meghan in the kitchen, garden â and even at the beehive â as she prepares to host friends both old and new,â Netflix wrote.
