Meghan Markle has praised singer Billie Eilish for 'coming to the rescue' after the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
The former royal, 43, has been visiting those affected by the tragedy - in which thousands lost their homes - including a teenager in the town of Altadena, whose house had sadly been destroyed.
Explaining that the girl had lost her beloved Billie t.shirt, which she'd bought at the star's concert, during the fire, Meghan put a call out to try and bag some free merch and was delighted when a huge parcel showed up at her palatial pad in Montecito.
Revealing the bounty, which included signed t.shirts and lunchboxes, the mum-of-two announced excitedly on her Instagram Stories: "I don't even know what this stuff means...I feel really old... but it's signed for her!"

Instagram)While thanking the Birds of a Feather star, she also revealed that it was Maroon 5ive singer Adam Levine, who helped her secure the gifts from Billie.
Meghan continued: "Huge thank you, Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her, and honestly, to Adam Levine and Bahati [Adam's wife], you guys helped me get this over the line, and to everyone who is showing up for people in big and small ways to get through what's happened in California, just thank you so much."
Despite her warm message to Billie and Adam, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, are said to have lost touch with many of their Hollywood friends since ditching their roles as senior royals and hot-footing it to the US from the UK.
The pair were once close friends with the likes of George Clooney and Victoria Beckham, but they've seemed to have developed frostier relationship s in recent years. PR expert Ronn Torossian believes the reason behind these crumbling relationships is clear.

Getty Images for The Recording A)Speaking to the Express, he said: "It's clear that several of Meghan's high-profile friendships have cooled over the past few years," he said. "Meghan herself indirectly highlighted this recently when she gifted a limited batch of her American Riviera Orchard Jams."
Meghan's close friends including Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry didn't publicly post about her new product, leaving many to speculate they had fallen out. Torossian added: "The lack of public support or the lack of gifting, would speak to the cooling of these relationships and the shrinking of her Hollywood circle."
Explaining the possible rifts, he continued: "The ongoing media scrutiny and public controversies surrounding Harry and Meghan makes associating with them less appealing for some celebrities. Additionally, some may want to avoid any potential fallout with the reigning British Royal Family."
Meghan and Harry found themselves surrounded by more negative attention recently when they were branded "disaster tourists" after being photographed at an evacuation centre during the L.A fires.
Actress Justine Bateman slammed the couple's appearance as a "repulsive photo opportunity". However, Meghan, who opened the doors to her home for her friends who had been affected by the tragedy, and grew up in L.A is said to have been "offended" by the claims.
