Michelle Keegan supported sweet surprise ahead of welcoming first child
The former Coronation Street star was reunited with her 'northern lot' for what appeared to be a surprise baby shower
Michelle Keegan has seemingly celebrated the upcoming arrival of her first child as she reunited with her 'northern lot' for what appeared to be a surprise baby shower.
The actress and her husband Mark Wright confirmed their pregnancy news just after Christmas as they told fans: "2025 is going to be a special one for us…" alongside a gorgeous picture showcasing her blossoming baby bump while on a beach in Spain towards the end of last year.
‌
Last week, weeks on from sharing the joyous news, Michelle shared a series of snaps from her busy month but managed to include self-care as she enjoyed massages, pregnancy bump masks and coffee dates. She captioned her post: "A self-care January…" along with a number of emojis.
‌
One picture had her show off the pregnancy care kit from My Little Coco, which was founded by presenter and business woman Rochelle Humes. The products included a 'bump butter', a 'bump sheet mask' and a bath foam. She also took a selfie while rocking a face mask as she relaxed in a robe at home and was also seen enjoying her dinner from the sofa as she watched the last days of The Traitors.
‌
Now, Michelle was treated to the most stunning surprise as she appeared to celebrate her impending arrival with her closest friends and family. The former Coronation Street star shared a glimpse of the intimate gathering on her Instagram Stories, posting a stylish yet rustic-inspired candlelit table, captioning the snap: "Cuuuuutest surprise brunch with my northern lot."
The picture showed a wooden tables adorned with flickering white candles, delicate sprigs of baby's breath in glass vases, and perfectly arranged napkins tied with twine on plates which had been accompanied by what were seemingly personalist biscuit favours for guests.

Alongside a video of the table settings, Michelle confirmed that her lookalike cousin Katie Fearnehough had organised the special day with the help of event planning company Peony Events, which is based in Cheshire. A video also saw a glowing Michelle getting glam for the special occasion with the help of her makeup artist Emily Clarkson.
It comes after Michelle was seen covering her growing baby bump as she gets stuck into filming her last scenes in hit comedy Brassic ahead of welcoming her first child. Before she can prepare for her little one's arrival, the 37-year-old is busy working on the last-ever series of Brassic.
Fans will know that the actress has starred in the popular show as Erin Croft since the beginning back in 2019. But after six years, it's been confirmed that the next series will be the last outing of the gang trying to make a living and navigate life in a northern town. The popular show's creators have said that they want to "stop while we are still riding high" and that the series currently being filmed will be the last.
