A recent Reddit thread sparked curiosity when a user asked: "Who do you think is Mick Jagger's favourite singer?" This prompted a lot of speculation among fans eager to share their thoughts.
While many names were tossed around, some with keen insight pointed out that the answer has been out in the open all along. One user confidently stated: "James Brown and Little Richard."
Another agreed, suggesting: "James Brown would be high on the list." Meanwhile, a third added: "Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters and Elvis, at least when he was starting out."

Indeed, Jagger himself has shed light on this topic in an interview with Rolling Stone. Interestingly, the story of Jagger's musical influences intertwines with his personal life.
Back in 1950, a young Jagger met Keith Richards at school, sparking a friendship that would evolve into one of the most successful partnerships in rock history. He referred to Little Richard as the "biggest inspiration of [his] teen years" and recognised his substantial impact on his own musical journey.
