Miley Cyrus Debuted a Surprising Jellyfish Haircut at the 2025 Grammys
Why choose between long hair and a bob when you can do both?
Miley Cyrus knows her way around a Grammys red carpet, and her look for the 2025 ceremony was no exception. The âFlowersâ singer wore a black leather custom Saint Laurent dress with an ab-baring cross-front halter neckline and a pencil skirt, featuring a daringly high front slit.
Perhaps even more eye-catching was Cyrus's jellyfish haircut, with blunt, chin-length pieces framing her slightly curled bangs. The rest of her hair, with chunky blonde highlights, was long and loose down her back. She set off the bold hair with dramatic gold and black eye makeup, gold bangle bracelets, and strappy sandals.

Cyrus won her first Grammy of the night before the main ceremony even started. She and Beyoncé took home the award for best country duo/group performance for "II MOST WANTED," which happened to be both her's and Beyoncé's first Grammy for a country song, by the way. The pair beat out four other contenders, including "Cowboys Cry Too" by Kelsea Ballerini with Noah Kahan and "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen.

Miley Cyrus was nominated for her first Grammy in 2015 for her Bangerz album, but didn't win her first Grammy until 2024, when she took home the awards for record of the year and best pop solo performance for âFlowers.â However, she has been nominated five additional times.
âNo shade, but Iâve been doing this for 20 years, and this is my first time actually being taken seriously at the Grammys,â she said in a W magazine interview in June of 2024. âIâve had a hard time figuring out what the measurement is there, because if we want to talk stats and numbers, then where the fuck was I? And if you want to talk, like, impact on culture, then where the fuck was I? This is not about arrogance. I am proud of myself.â
