Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that it was her idea for Sabrina Carpenter to âarrestâ her during one of the singerâs âShort nâ Sweetâ tour dates last year.

Brown appeared on the big screens for the segment, which sees the pop star fake an arrest of a fan âfor being too hotâ each night. âItâs so unfortunate we have to arrest you because youâre so beautiful,â Carpenter told the actor. âThat sucks.â
From there, Brown pleaded with the singer to arrest her, before proudly holding up the fluffy pink handcuffs to the camera. The moment subsequently went viral on social media (watch below).
Now, in a new interview with Vanity Fair, Brown has said she reached out to Carpenter via text message ahead of the show. âCan you arrest me?â she asked, to which the star obliged: âI would love to arrest you.â
The outlet also notes that Carpenter has since staged the arrests of her producer Jack Antonoff and his wife, The Substance actor Margaret Qualley, and Saturday Night Live comedian Marcello Hernåndez as his SNL character Domingo.
