Mindy Kaling reveals $80K tribute to her 3 young kids

Mindy Kaling's latest accessory is not just a fashion statement, but a sentimental tribute to her three children — and it comes with a price tag that's hard to ignore.
While on a quick trip to Paris, The Office alum shared a snap of her alligator Hermès Kelly bag, which, in itself, is a luxurious item worth upwards of $80,000 on the resale market. However, Kaling, 45, took it to the next level by adding a personalized touch with diamond- and gem-covered charms designed by a custom jeweler.
These custom charms feature the names of her three children — son Spencer, 3, and daughters Kit (Katherine), 7, and Annie (Anne), who was born in February 2024 — along with their corresponding birthstones: blue sapphire, amethyst, and blue topaz.

Other photos in Kaling's carousel, which was captioned "36 hours in Paris!! Thank you," included various fashionable looks from The Mindy Project alum as she posed around iconic locations in Paris. Fans loved this look at the actress' travels, and left their comments on the photos.
"Can't help stare at every pair of shoes ????," noted one user, while another said, "So fashionable, how did Paris let you leave!!!"

Kaling shares her three children with an undisclosed partner, though many have speculated that father is her Office co-star, BJ Novak. The duo dated on and off from 2004 to 2007 and have remained close friends. "He's the godparent to both my kids — and they have such a great relationship — and so far [the speculation hasn't] affected my happiness at all, it hasn't affected my kids or BJ," she revealed to Marie Claire in 2022.
