Molly-Mae rowed with Tommy before engagement as she makes wedding bombshell
The star announced her split with Tommy Fury just a year after their engagement

Molly-Mae Hague dropped a major twist as she revealed that her new documentary was originally supposed to follow her and Tommy Fury as they prepared for their wedding day before the pair called it quits last August.
The pair first coupled up in 2019 on the ITV2 dating show Love Island after Molly-Mae entered the villa as a bombshell on day three of the competition. They finished as runner-ups behind Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, but soon became Britain's "it couple" after moving in together, getting engaged and welcoming daughter Bambi over the last few years.
With 8.3 million Instagram followers, it's no surprise that Molly's proposal video got a whopping 45 million views as Tommy got down on one knee in Ibiza. In her documentary, Molly admitted: "I don't know just, it was really perfect."
However, the tide soon changed when almost a year later the couple announced their split that sent shockwaves across their loyal fanbase. While they initially didn't share why they decided to call it quits, Tommy recently opened up in an interview with Men's Health that he "had a problem with alcohol" and "couldn't be the partner that [he] wanted to be anymore."
Originally, it was cheating rumours that fans speculated was the real reason behind the emotional break up and Molly-Mae got candid about how she was "convinced" Tommy had pictures of another woman on his phone right before their engagement.

"He'd been acting shady, obviously, and we had taken some photos on Tommy's phone, of him and I at the hotel. And I was like 'Can I have a look at the photos on your phone?' and he wouldn't let me go on his phone. Obviously, I start thinking: 'Why won't you let me on your phone?'" she revealed.
Reflecting on after the argument happened, Molly addressed her fears with the camera crew: "Up until literally the point of pulling up in the car, I fully thought I was going to a dinner. I was that oblivious and I was literally looking out of the car window like I was in a sad music video, thinking that he literally had some pictures of another woman on his phone or something. That was what was going through my mind, on my way to my engagement. It's pretty funny really."
Although she had previously shared how "perfect" the day was, Molly didn't shy away from the fact that "things were getting a bit tricky" for the couple during that period. She later admitted: "He wanted a family life but also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities, and the two don’t go hand-in-hand."

After panning back to Molly as she sat with rollers in her hair, the screen read: "Molly-Mae and Tommy agreed to film a documentary following their lives, as they prepared for their wedding day." It cuts to Molly joking as she laughs before asking: "What are we calling this load of shite? What actually are we going to call it?"
Molly made the decision to allow the cameras to keep following her around after the recent break up, and the influencer-turned-established businesswoman expressed her discomfort in some of the title suggestions. As "Molly-Mae: Britain's Sweetheart" was thrown into the ring Molly laughed awkwardly before sharing "no, that's really embarrassing!"
She continued to admit that she's finding "it a bit hard" to continue as her life "changed overnight". The documentary then shows Molly sat looking at videos of people talking about her break up online, as she shared: "It's not something I've ever spoken about before, it's a good opportunity for me to sit down and actually say how I feel."
Molly-Mae: Behind It All is a six part series. The first three parts are out now on Prime. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
