Lewinsky said she was ânervous, but excitedâ to be on the show, sharing that she is âin a busy timeâ as she focuses on the launch of her own podcast.
Cooper told viewers Lewinskyâs podcast is called âReclaiming With Monica Lewinskyâ and centers on what it means to take back your name.
Lewinsky said her life and relationship with the media have improved drastically since her tough times of the past, proudly declaring, âIâm not ashamed of who I am.

Lewinsky expressed gratitude for the way her life has changed in the last 10 years, saying, âThat certainly was not a given.â
She also gave thanks for her close support system, saying, âMy familyâs always been amazing. Iâve always had friends, thank God.â
When Cooper asked if Lewinsky had ever wanted an apology from her harshest critics, Lewinsky said she did at first, but was able to let go of the idea âas people saw me more and more for my true self, as I was able to have agency.â
She added, âEven though I will always in some ways be defined by my history, I am also defined by my present. And thatâs important.â
That present includes advocating for âa safer social media environmentâ and addressing topics like âdigital resilience, privacy, and equality for women,â per the Family Online Safety Institute.
No âCall Her Daddyâ convo would be complete without a love life update, and Lewinsky was happy to share her experiences.
She told Cooper, âIâve always dated,â but said it hasnât always been successful. âMy dating life has been complicated, I think, at times.â
She said she is well-equipped to only spend time with genuine people, having always had a âpretty strongâ detector for those who might approach her for the wrong reasons.
Lewinsky revealed that almost completely cutting out alcohol has had benefits, saying she only has âchampagne on rare occasions.â
She shared a tip to help women through their struggles, encouraging viewers to âalways remember that somebody is feeling the same way.â
