Zero Day: Robert De Niro stars in new thriller series official trailer
Netflix recently released another gripping series that fans have been obsessed with.
On February 20, political thriller series Zero Day aired on the streaming platform, starring Hollywood icon Robert De Niro and Lizzy Caplan. It is a political conspiracy thriller following a devastating global cyber attack. Zero Day was created by Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and Michael Schmidt and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter.
Netflix's official account shared a trailer of the series, which saw Robert switching on the TV to witness President Evelyn Mitchell (played by Angela Bassett) saying: "Today our great nation was attacked," before the clip changed to people panicking on the streets. On a news channel, another broadcaster said: "And our government had no idea who did it and how to stop it from happening again."
It switched back to the president saying: "That's why I appointed you to lead the Zero Day Commission, George." The clips quickly cut between the president's message and the broadcaster's announcement before the screen blacked out to spell out 'Zero Day'. Fans were immediately intrigued and rushed to share their thoughts.

One person praised Robert and said: "Watching it today. his very first major role in TV, Robert de Niro's performance and character is very haunting and exceptionally thrilling," while another eager fan commented: "Cant wait to watch !!" One viewer added: "That cyberattack vibe is wild, definitely checking it out tonight."
Meanwhile, Hollywood icon Robert recently shared a rare glimpse into parenting his 20-month daughter, Gia. He opened up about his life at home with his little girl - who he shares with his professional martial artist girlfriend Tiffany Chen,45.
During an appearance on BBC Radio 2's Breakfast Show with Scott Mills, he admitted he hasn't watched many movies as he spends a lot of his time watching children's television instead. He said: "I donât watch as many movies as I should, I try to watch films especially that Iâm to.
"I just wanna keep up, but I watch current events if you will news stuff like that. Now I watch with my little girl, The Wiggles and Ms Rachel." Radio host Scott then asked if he ever head about classic children's show, Bluey.
Robert said: "Iâll look up, Iâll look for them," before Scott added: "Please will someone write this down because this might change your life in terms of attention span. Do you know what I'm saying? Bluey and Hey Duggee." Robert replied: 'The Wiggles and Ms Rachel I didn't know of them until I started seeing them and my daughter loves to watch them⌠But theyâre great!"
