Model Lottie Moss has candidly shared her past struggles with addiction and depression, which have previously led to her seeking rehab treatment. Recently, she disclosed that participating in Celebrity Bear Hunt was a pivotal experience that prevented her from another rehab stint.
During an emotional segment on the second episode of the hit Netflix series, the Celebs Go Dating star opened up about her challenging journey. Voicing her inner turmoil, she recounted: "You become quite numb, I didn't feel anything, I didn't care whether pretty much, I lived or died."
Her admission didn't stop there; she added: "I would've gone into the ground and my mum said, 'You need to go to rehab.' It made me feel better but it didn't really work."
With striking honesty, Lottie admitted to her castmates: "I'm not gonna lie to you guys, before coming in here, I was about to go to rehab again." She was then reduced to tears, receiving comfort from the other celebrities.

Upon exiting the show as one of the final five contestants, Lottie reflected on her vulnerability during her exit interview, reports the Mirror.
She shed light on how mental health battles can trigger a downward spiral, saying: "As with mental health you get yourself into a state - when it rains it pours. I definitely just needed a sense of purpose, I needed to feel inspired again about life."
Explaining the debilitating impact of depression and anxiety, she said: "The thing with depression and anxiety is when you don't feel inspired you don't feel like you want to do anything, everything in you just crashes and dies. That spark just gets put out."
Lottie ultimately attributed the show with reigniting her zest for life, crediting it with restoring the spark required to tackle life's challenges head-on.
Continuing, she admitted: "So when you do things like this, it reignites that fire of, 'Oh my god I have things to live for,' the adrenaline feels great and you feel emotions again."

Lottie shared how her battle with depression often left her feeling empty: "A lot of the time with my depression I feel nothing. I feel numb and that's a very dangerous state to be in. And that's the reason I took myself there last time as well. I just couldn't get out of bed."
The celeb found that braving the 'Bear Pit' and taking on the cliff abseil made her feel unstoppable, describing herself as a "badass". The gripping finale saw Lottie reach the last five, alongside Una Healy, Steph McGovern, Big Zuu and Kola Bokkini.
However, Lottie didn't manage to dodge Bear Grylls in the ultimate Bear Pit challenge.
While Steph, Una, and Big Zuu all skilfully dodged capture, it was Big Zuu who was ultimately crowned the victor by Bear in the Netflix show's inaugural season finale.
