Previously on “The Tale of Lady Ok,” Sung Do Gyeom (Kim Jae Won) wasn’t particularly interested in getting married, despite being the neighborhood’s most eligible bachelor. But that changed when the mysterious outsider Cha Mi Ryeong (Yeonwoo) entered the picture—and the fake Ok Tae Young, who was impressed by Cha Mi Ryeong’s altruism and cleverness, encouraged the match.
However, not all was as it seemed: behind her seemingly compassionate mask, Cha Mi Ryeong was revealed to have a cold side that she was hiding from Ok Tae Young and Sung Do Gyeom. The patients that Cha Mi Ryeong was “taking care of” at her home also turned out to be paid actors, raising the question of what this suspicious newcomer was plotting.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Cha Mi Ryeong makes a beautiful bride as she prepares for her wedding. Ok Tae Young, who is all too pleased that Cha Mi Ryeong is marrying her brother-in-law, affectionately helps her prepare for the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Sung Do Gyeom’s warm gaze as he looks at Cha Mi Ryeong only serves to make viewers more nervous about the shady bride’s ulterior motives.
The next episode of “The Tale of Lady Ok” will air on December 28 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
