All we Have are Days debuts in Limerick City this St. Brigidâ??s weekend, headlined by Oscar nominee Ruth Negga, DJ and producer Quantic, U.S. filmmaker dream hampton and singer/songwriter Lisa Hannigan
A brand new festival is launching in Limerick City over the St Brigid's Bank Holiday Weekend, featuring performances and talks from Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes, Bell X1âs Paul Noonan and many more.
All we Have are Days is a music-centred festival embedded in Limerick, gathering the city's cultural community with a wide range of Irish and international guests and artists, for a range of bespoke and intimate shows in unique venues across the city.
Hosting shows in churches, theatres, pubs and public spaces, the festival will also feature small, pop-up pub performances across the weekend from a range of festival artists, and welcome conversations and performances from artists and guests from across discipline - exploring their relationship with music, and opening conversations with artists who share sensibility, but rarely have the opportunity to appear together.
Launching the festival on Friday January 31, Academy Award and Tony Award nominee Ruth Negga, Mercury Prize nominee Lisa Hannigan, and Irish Book of the Year winner Sinéad Gleeson come together for a unique and singular evening in the cityâs 800-year old St. Maryâs Cathedral.
Further headline shows across the weekend include the acclaimed TRIO on Saturday February 1, with Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes and Bell X1âs Paul Noonan, in conversation and performance at the beautiful Johnâs Church, home of Dance Limerick in the cityâs historic Johnâs Square.
Oscar nominee Ruth Negga will headline the festivalNiamh Regan and guests play the same venue on Bank Holiday Sunday, February 2, also on Sunday February 2, the festival welcomes DJs Quantic, B+ and Donal Dineen for an all day block party, while renowned American filmmaker dream hampton joins the festival program for an Irish debut screening of her recently released film âIt Was All A Dreamâ, followed by a digital âin conversationâ with Denise Chaila and Dr. Jennifer McMahon.
All We Have Are Days runs across the St. Brigidâs Bank Holiday weekend, Friday, January 31 to Monday February 3, welcoming Irish and international artists for unique shows in venues across Limerick City.
