Swifties may be unimpressed with Kelce, but there is no bad blood between their fave and her man.
An insider told the Daily Mail, "Taylor is not angry at Travis for what he said. Although Travis's quote was taken as he supports Trump, this is not what Travis said at all."
They added, "He never actually even said the word Trump. Travis was speaking on behalf of his entire team and all of his fans when he said it is an honor to have the President of the United States at the game and he would have said the same thing regardless of who the president was."

Fans Understand Kelce's Comments
Although some Swifties shared their displeasure about Kelce's comments, others understood why he answered that way and lauded him for it.
One person wrote, "He respects the office regardless of the person who occupies it. He said the same thing when he and his team were invited to the White House during the previous administration."
Another person added, "What would you want him to say? Everyone knows that Travis is a huge Trump hater. Even Trump said it. He is in his Superbowl week and let's face it he could be putting his family at risk and Taylor."
A third person commented, "Why would Travis Kelce create a distraction for him and his team by answering this any other way? And give anyone reason to go after his girlfriend. This was smart. If someone asked something similar a month from now they would likely give a different answer."

Donald Trump's Past Comments About Taylor Swift
Given Trump's previous comments about his girlfriend, it is easy to understand why several Swifties didn't like Travis Kelce's diplomacy.
In September 2024, Trump slammed the pop diva on Truth Social when he declared, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"
Ahead of the 2024 Presidential elections, Swift endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Trump reacted by calling into "Fox & Friends" and stating that he prefers Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, to Swift.
He said, per Forbes, "I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth."
Trump also claimed that Brittany is a "big Trump fan," before adding that he wasn't a fan of Taylor Swift.
