Oasis star Noel Gallagher has teared in to Kendrick Lamar following his half time performance at the Super Bowl.
The Oasis frontman is known for not mincing his words, as rapper Kendrick has become his latest target. Kendrick provided entertainment as Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles took a break in the game on Sunday night. It came just days after Kendrick swept up five Grammy Awards.
He called on Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams to be part of his special guests as he performed hits including DNA and All the Stars. Despite the rave reviews from fans, it seems Noel was far from impressed. He fumed: "I had to switch it off. It was absolute nonsense. I didn't watch it all, I just switched it off. It was like 300 people getting out the car in the first two minutes."
"I don't like the half time nonsense and all that, it's usually artists that I don't like," he said while on TalkSport. However, Noel did praise the sport as he admitted: "The Super Bowl, I do like watching that and I have got invested in the season, it was a good season I think."
Kendrick's performance was watched by millions across the world, as well as a sold-out Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Despite being the first sitting President to attend the game, Donald Trump didn't stay around for too long as he decided to leave the game before it even finished.

Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson joined Kendrick on stage dressed as Uncle Sam and said: "This is the great American game," before introducing the performance. Dancers who appeared around Kendrick had dressed in white, blue or red sweatsuits to symbolise the American flag.
"The revolution's about to be televised," Kendrick said. "You picked the right time but the wrong guy." Samuel L. Jackson said: "No, no, no! Too loud, too reckless, too ghetto! Mr. Lamar, do you really know how to play the game? Tighten up!" He was then surrounded by all-Black dancers as they formed the American flag.
While there was no clear dig at the president, the "End Racism" message which has been part of the Super Bowl since 2021, was replaced with "Choose Love" â perhaps a dig at Trump's recent targeting of the LGBTQ+ community since being sworn in. Fans also waited to see if he would rap his highly-anticipated diss track aimed at Drake, despite the ongoing lawsuit. During his performance, Kendrick headed over to a group of dancers as he said: "I wanna perform their favourite song but you know they love to sue."
A clip of the song played over the speakers as Kendrick added: "Yeah that song, oh maybe I'll think about it." Ignoring any potential backlash from Drake Kendrick did perform Not Like Us and featured a cameo from the Canadian rapper's ex-girlfriend Serena.
As Kendrick's performance wrapped up, the words Game Over were illuminated in the stadium stands, which some fans believe is a signal to the end of his beef with Drake. Not Like Us, released was released in May last year at the height of Lamar and Drake's feud and sees Kendrick accuse his Canadian rival of sexual misconduct. Last month, Drake began legal action against his music label over Kendrick's diss track.
