Oasis line-up revealed: who is joining the reunion tour later this year?
After months of speculation, the names of those who will join the Gallagher brothers on their reunion tour later this year have finally been revealed
After almost a year of speculation – and names like Peppa Pig and Bert and Ernie jokingly thrown into the ring by Liam Gallagher – it appears that the full line up for the Oasis Reunion Tour kicking off this summer has finally been confirmed.
Ever since brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher patched things up and announced the reunion last August, the tour has proved a headline machine. From the band’s debut album topping the charts amid the news to the fan fury surrounding the tour’s dynamic ticket pricing (which Ticketmaster denies), the tour is set to be the biggest music moment of the year.
Understandably, many have questioned who else will be joining the brothers on the road for their 41 international dates – which includes seven shows at Wembley Stadium – from July. Now, a source close to the band has seemingly confirmed the adjoining members to NME.
In a series of tweets responding to the NME article, Liam Gallagher expressed his thoughts: “NME tell me who your source pots are that keep giving you info about OASIS and I’ll give you an exclusive interview about up n coming OASIS tour you can have it all but how much do you want it,” he posted.
Gallagher continued that his concern wasn’t regarding the lineup reveal, instead it was around who from the band’s circle was leaking information to the press.
Let’s take a deeper look at who’s joining Liam and Noel Gallagher on their mammoth tour this year.

Archer joined Oasis as the band’s second guitarist in late 1999 and stayed until they split in 2009. He’s proved a vital cog in both Gallagher brothers’ careers since, however, so it’s unsurprising that he’ll be joining them once again on tour later this year. 58-year-old Archer was recruited to Liam’s post-Oasis band Beady Eye in 2009 as its lead guitarist until 2014. Then, after a number of live performances together, he joined Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds as a permanent member in 2017, where he has remained since. Alongside drummer Chris Sharrock, he’s the only former Oasis member to have been a member of each brother’s bands.

Another familiar face reuniting with the brothers this year is the band’s former bassist Andy Bell. Like Archer, he joined Oasis in 1999 after the departure of original bassist Paul McGuigan and remained a member until their 2009 split. He joined Liam, Archer and Sharrock as a member of Liam’s outfit after Oasis’ split where he played bass, guitar, keyboards and provided backing vocals until their eventual split in 2014. Aside from his work with the brothers, Bell is known as a founding member of 1980s shoegaze quartet Ride. Heralded as pioneers of the genre, the band have reunited a number of times since splitting in the mid 1990s and released their most recent album, the well received Interplay, last year.
Joey Waronker

One of the more surprising additions to the lineup comes in the form of American drummer and producer Joey Waronker. Back in September, Liam teased that “there could be a few new faces” joining the band on tour. It seems that Waronker will take the reigns from the band’s previous drummers, which include original member Tony McCarroll (1991-1995), Alan White (1995-2004), Ringo Starr’s son Zak Starkey (2004-2008) and Chris Sharrock, who played with the band for a year until their 2009 split.
So who is the new face joining Oasis? LA’s Waronker is an esteemed drummer known for his work with big names like Tracy Chapman, the Who, Beck, Smashing Pumpkins, Nelly Furtado and R.E.M. – the latter of which he joined as a touring member between 1998 and 2002. In addition to these high-profile collaborations, the 55-year-old is a founding member of experimental rock trio Ultraísta, a former member of Thom Yorke’s electronic rock band Atoms for Peace and is known for his work scoring dramas, sitcoms and documentaries.
This won’t be Waronker’s first encounter with the Gallagher brothers –last year he played drums for Liam for the live performances of his collaborative album with John Squire.
Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs

When the news finally broke that Oasis were reuniting, one former member’s name was on every fan's lips: Bonehead. An original member of Oasis as rhythmic guitarist, Bonehead – real name Paul Arthurs – left in 1999 to spend more time with his family (being replaced by Gem Archer), however he remained on good terms with his former bandmates. Following a career in radio and the odd DJ set, he reunited with Liam for the occasional live performance with Beady Eye in 2013 and 2014 and regularly accompanied Liam on stage for his solo performances through the late 2010s, notably playing guitar during his headlining Reading and Leeds set in 2021. After a cancer diagnosis Arthurs pulled back from performing in 2022 and 2023, however rejoined Gallagher last year after receiving the all clear.
