Kicking off his regular Heart FM gig, Mark Wright couldn't resist a cheeky nod to Olly Murs' big news, exclaiming, "It's Easter weekend, baby", with an emphasis that made co-host Olly chuckle and playfully remark: "I see what you did there."

The cheekiness was all about Olly's heartwarming reveal from the night before, where he and his wife Amelia announced they're expecting baby number two. Joining forces with Mark on-air, an overjoyed Olly spilled the beans, admitting the pregnancy came as quite the surprise, sharing tenderly: "We just want to grow our little family."

With fatherhood still fresh for Mark himself, who recently welcomed a bundle of joy with Michelle Keegan, he listened as Olly detailed how hush-hush the whole thing had to be, describing the buzz of keeping such thrilling news under wraps. He told Mark: "You know you have those weeks where you just can't tell anyone? And it's been really exciting news for us both, a shock, we didn't expect it to happen this quick, but amazing!".

Mark didn't hold back the praise, heralding Olly and Amelia as top-notch parents to their darling Madi, and told them that adding another little one to the mix is "just sensational."

The cat was let out of the bag after Olly, 40, gave Instagram followers a glimpse into his family life with an adorable video featuring young Madison. As he hoisted her onto his shoulders, the words "Big Sis" emblazoned on her shirt did the talking.

Building up to the big reveal, Olly teased, "We're so egg-cited to share this..... Another Baby Murs on the way," and for any doubt left lingering, Amelia showcased a set of ultrasound scans, confirming the joyful addition to the Murs brood.

Soon to hit the road for his upcoming tour, Olly reassured fans that Amelia is in great spirits and even with a bit of sleep deprivation on the horizon, he expressed pure excitement stating: "It's going to be mad, having a little brother or sister for Madison."

Reflecting on the changes in his life, Olly mentioned, "Times have changed" but quickly affirmed, "but in a good way."

Their adorable announcement follows close on the heels of their daughter Madison's first birthday festivities, which the couple commemorated with the sweetest array of snaps showing off the landmark celebration.

Since announcing baby Madison's arrival to the world on April 16, 2024, after telling everyone they were expecting in December 2023—mere months post their nuptials on July 15, 2023—the proud dad has been sharing snippets of her growth on social media.

To mark Madison turning one, the 'Troublemaker' singer shared some incredibly cute clips and photos, encapsulating her year of milestones. He wrote with amazement: "Can't believe our Madi is 1 today."
