The 2025 Oscars were full of memorable moments. However, when Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg reunited on stage to honor the late Quincy Jones, they had everyone talking. The former The Color Purple co-stars raised eyebrows with their outfits and slimmed-down physique during Hollywoodā€™s biggest night. The two women showed off their tiny waists and unique fashion sense at the show, and fans immediately took notice. The pair were even criticized online for their weight loss, as fans cited Ozempic for their new look.

The Daily Mail reports that Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg were dressed to the nines for the Oscars. The former talk show host sported a black dress that included a suit jacket, white collared shirt, black tie, and a floor-length sparkly black skirt. She added dangling earrings and wore her eyeglasses on stage for the tribute.

Meanwhile, The View host changed up her usual laid-back look as she rocked an attention-grabbing blue dress. The strapless gown featured a cinched waist, puffy skirt, and embellished top. She accessorized with diamond stud earrings, a necklace, and also wore her eyeglasses on stage.

Of course, fans couldnā€™t help but take to social media to share their thoughts on Oprah and Whoopiā€™s weight loss. While some gushed over how great the legendary stars look, others werenā€™t so nice.

ā€œWhoopi Goldberg and Oprah teaming up for an Ozempic commercial at the Oscars? Now thatā€™s a surprise collab! Hollywood always keeps us guessing,ā€ one person wrote via X.

ā€œOzempic Twins,ā€ another stated.

ā€œSo much for Weight Watchers,ā€ a third person said.

ā€œThe ozempic did wonders for Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah,ā€ a fourth comment read.

Both Winfrey and Goldberg have been open about their use of weight loss medication. In 2023, Oprah revealed that she had lost about 50 pounds thanks to the use of GLP-1 medication like Ozempic. Meanwhile, Whoopi told fans on The View that she used Mounjaro for weight loss.

Of course, the duo arenā€™t the only stars who have confessed to using Ozempic and other similar products. Celebs such as Kelly Clarkson, Scott Disick, Sharon Osbourne, Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, Rebel Wilson, Kathy Bates, and more have all been open about the weight loss medication (via TODAY).

Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg looked happy to be at the Oscars to pay tribute to Quincy Jones. They havenā€™t addressed criticism of their weight loss methods. However, they seemed healthy and happy, and thatā€™s all that matters.

Goldman Sachs CEO says Trump tariffs are part of a plan to 'level the playing field'

SYDNEY (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs is part of a plan to "level the playing field" that he views as unfair, but the end result remains uncertain, Goldman Sachs chair and CEO David Solomon told a conference in Australia. "The president firmly believes that there are imbalances with respect to how trade exists, and he has a strong point of view that he wants to level the playing field aggressively," Solomon told the Australian Financial Review Business Summit in Sydney. Asked about a forecast shared at the same conference by investment giant Blackstone chair and CEO Stephen Schwarzman that the U.S. had no chance of experiencing a recession in 2025, Solomon said: "The chance of recession in 2025 is small but it's not zero."
