KBS2’s upcoming drama “Who Is She!” has unveiled new stills featuring its veteran cast!
A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She!” is a music romance drama about a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old and gets a second chance at living out her dreams.
The newly released stills highlight the intriguing dynamics among Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook), Park Gap Yong (Jung Bo Suk), and Kim Ae Shim (Cha Hwa Yun).
Oh Mal Soon is a woman who, after magically returning to her twenties, decides to leave her quiet life running a small restaurant to pursue her long-time dream of becoming a singer. She joins UNIS Entertainment as a trainee, only to discover that the company is run by her long-time rival Ae Shim.
Park Gap Yong is a former ssireum (Korean wrestling) champion and a loyal friend to Mal Soon who has long harbored feelings for her. As he looks for Mal Soon who went missing overnight, he becomes confused when he sees a young woman in her twenties who looks just like Mal Soon.
Kim Ae Shim is a beloved singer in the country and the CEO of UNIS Entertainment. However, her seemingly successful life takes a turn when she encounters her old rival Mal Soon, and when Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), a trainee who looks just like Mal Soon, joins her company. Tensions rise as Ae Shim confronts her past and grows wary of both Oh Mal Soon and Oh Doo Ri.
The production team of the drama shared, ”Kim Hae Sook creates extraordinary synergy with Jung Bo Suk and Cha Hwa Yun. Kim Hae Sook and Jung Bo Suk share a strong friendship chemistry as well as a romantic atmosphere, while Kim Hae Sook and Cha Hwa Yun become rivals due to a past incident. The story of these characters unfolds differently from the original movie, which will add more intrigue to the plot. We ask viewers to give lots of attention and watch the drama.”
“Who Is She!” will premiere on December 18 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

KBS2’s upcoming drama “Who Is She!” has revealed key reasons to look forward to the drama!
A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She!” is a music romance drama about Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook), a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into 20-year-old Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), and gets a second chance at living out her dreams of becoming a singer.
With its highly anticipated premiere approaching, here are three reasons you won’t want to miss this heartwarming drama:
The simple yet complex issue of family conflict
Oh Mal Soon, a grandmother in her 70s, always hoped her daughter Ban Ji Sook (Seo Young Hee) would live a fulfilling and independent life—unlike her own, which was spent caring for an alcoholic father without a mother’s presence. Ji Sook fulfills her mother’s wish by becoming a successful executive at a large corporation. Yet, Mal Soon often complains that Ji Sook is cold and distant, unlike other warm and affectionate mother-daughter relationships.
Ji Sook, on the other hand, feels hurt watching Mal Soon lavish her granddaughter Choi Ha Na (Chae Won Bin) with love and attention—affection Ji Sook feels she never received. When Ha Na decides to give up on her college entrance exam, Ji Sook feels deeply betrayed and vents her frustrations on Mal Soon. The growing emotional divide between the two adds tension to the story, leaving viewers to wonder if they can resolve their conflict.
The story becomes even more compelling with its three distinct female leads: the self-reliant yet emotionally detached Ji Sook, the bold and strong-willed Ha Na, and the quintessential grandmother Mal Soon. This multigenerational tale of three women offers a relatable and engaging narrative, leaving audiences eager to see how it all unfolds.
A shining second chance at becoming a singer
Oh Doo Ri may have the soul of a grandmother, but she’s determined to achieve the dream she couldn’t pursue in her youth: becoming a singer. To chase this long-held goal, she joins UNIS Entertainment as a trainee, stepping into an unfamiliar world of idols.
Though teased and mistreated by other trainees, Doo Ri pours her heart into rigorous practice, staying late to perfect her dance moves with relentless determination. As she pushes toward her dream of debuting, viewers are left wondering: Will Doo Ri make it to the stage alongside her peers? The excitement of seeing her “second chance at life” unfold makes her journey all the more captivating.
A blossoming romance between Jung Ji So and Jung Jinyoung
Daniel Han (Jung Jinyoung), a former member of Asia’s top idol group Ignis, steps out of the spotlight after a major incident and returns as a producer at Eunice Entertainment. For reasons unknown, Daniel plans to launch a girl group as his final project before leaving the industry. Just as everything seems set, his life is turned upside down when Oh Doo Ri—who mysteriously transforms from a 70-year-old woman into her 20s—appears.
After casting Doo Ri as a trainee for the girl group debut team, Daniel becomes increasingly distracted by her carefree and unpredictable nature. Though frustrated by her behavior at times, he begins to show moments of genuine concern for her, sparking a heartwarming connection.
As Doo Ri enters Daniel’s life, viewers are left eager to see how their relationship unfolds. The undeniable chemistry between Jung Ji So and Jung Jinyoung promises to deliver a charming and captivating romance for audiences.
“Who Is She!” will premiere on December 18 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
