Hackers continue to be an issue in Overwatch with the gameâs controversial reporting system not sufficiently punishing offenders. Many streamers have spoken out over the issue of hacking, as aimbots and wallhacks continue to terrorize the ranked ladder.
However, one streamer accidentally revealed himself as a cheater, going live on Twitch before shutting off his cheats. TVPedri, a small streamer, was seen wallhacking on stream which was captured and reported on X and channels like Noobhunter.
Wallhacker goes live on Twitch by accident
In a clip captured by Noobhunter and X account @lePardal, TVPedri is seen utilizing wallhacks, able to see the location of each enemy character as well as their health bars and ultimate charge. TVPedri was not able to secure any kills in both clips, presumably due to a lack of aimbot.
âDefinitely turned off that aimbot though,â wrote one viewer.
Some viewers arenât optimistic that TVPedri will face any punishment. The lack of punishment for cheaters on ladder has been a common criticism by the community and content creators at large.
âI know for a fact that this cheater will never get banned,â wrote one comment.
âReally cool [that] you probably have a higher chance of getting banned if you said a swear word than actually hard aimbotting,â said Frogger in an earlier tweet, criticizing Blizzard for their inaction in the report system at large.
TVPedri does not have any VODs turned on for his channel, so itâs unknown when the streamer last went live, and there hasnât been any indication that TVPedri faced any punishment for this incident.
