Although the "Freaky Friday" actress did not lose her home, most of her community is gone. On Thursday, she let her Instagram followers know that she was in contact with Governor Newsom in order to help with disaster relief through a significant financial contribution.

“As the fire still rages on and @calfire @losangelesfiredepartment and all the available first responders and agencies involved in fighting fire and saving lives are still hard at work and neighbors and friends are banding together to save each other, my husband and I and our children have pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there,” she wrote on Instagram. “I'm in communication with Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass and Senator Schiff as to where those funds need to be directed for the most impact.”

On Sunday, she let her followers know that the first of the donations were being sent out in a separate Instagram post. “There is also a group being formed and a concert being prepared and we will participate in that program as well,” she added as her followers pledged to donate whatever they could to help those impacted by the fires.

In her own Instagram post, the mother-of-two decided to open her wallet in order to help other families that were impacted by the blaze. The reality TV star shares two children - a son named Phoenix and a daughter named London - with her husband, Carter Reum.
On Friday, she let her followers know how much she was donating and where that money was going. “As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies so I’m launching an emergency fund through my nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families with young children,” she wrote. “I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000 and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more. I am looking for others to donate and match alongside me to do our part!”

She explained that the money will provide cast assistance to families impacted by the wildfires, provide short-term housing and hotel stays for families with young children, deliver essential items and supplies to evacuation centers, and support local animal shelters working around the clock to help displaced pets. She also revealed that she herself will be volunteering this weekend.

As painful as it was to see, the DJ returned to the remains of her beachfront property in order to show her followers what was left. Although this was not her primary residence, it was still a heartbreaking loss, given the many memories she had already shared with her two young children at the location.
“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” she wrote in another post. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”

“This house wasn’t just a place to live— It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family," she continued. "It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words.”

Wednesday night was when Paris Hilton confirmed reports that her beachfront property in Malibu had been destroyed with a clip of the news coverage showing the burned remains of her home.
“Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she wrote in the caption. “This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.”

However, she expressed gratitude that her family and her pets were safe. “My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets,” she added. “My heart aches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.”

Although the fire is believed to have started in the Pacific Palisades area on Tuesday morning, hurricane-force winds have pushed the fires into surrounding communities. After surviving for a few days without electricity, "Toxic" singer Britney Spears took to Instagram to let her followers know that she was leaving her Thousand Oaks estate and heading to a hotel.
“I hope you are all doing OK !!! I had to evacuate my home and I’m driving 4 hours to a hotel !!! I’m posting these adorable shoes to lift people’s spirits !!!" she wrote in the caption. "Most people may not even be on their phones !!! I wasn’t the past two days because I had no electricity to charge and I just got my phone back !!! I pray you’re all doing well and I send my love!!!”
