Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho, Lee Hae Young, And Hong Hwa Yeon Reveal Their Different Desires In Posters For “Buried Hearts”
SBS’s “Buried Hearts” has shared character posters of Park Hyung Sik, Heo Joon Ho, Lee Hae Young, and Hong Hwa Yeon!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won.
Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairperson’s Public Affairs team. Although he appears on the outside to be a loyal “Daesan man” through and through, Seo Dong Joo is secretly full of ambition and ready to seize an opportunity to swallow Daesan Group whole.
Heo Joon Ho plays the wealthy and immensely powerful professor Yum Jang Sun, who was formerly the head of the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Yum Jang Sun controls kingmakers from behind and secretly holds the strings to all of society, and he derives pleasure from being able to move people around at his will like puppets.
Lee Hae Young plays Heo Il Do, the eldest son-in-law of Daesan Group and the president of Daesan Energy. His goal is to inherit Daesan Group and pass it on to his son.
Hong Hwa Yeon takes on the role of Yeo Eun Nam, the granddaughter of Daesan Group’s CEO, who becomes entangled with Seo Dong Joo. She harbors an ambition to take control of Daesan Group as well as a desire to uncover the truth behind her father’s death.
The released character posters capture Seo Dong Joo, Yum Jang Sun, Heo Il Do, and Yeo Eun Nam against a black-and-white background. The first poster captures Seo Dong Joo with an intense gaze. The caption, “I’ll open my own future. The position of CEO at Daesan Chemical. That’s my first future,” fully conveys Seo Dong Joo’s strong ambition.
In the next poster, Yum Jang Sun’s viciousness is captured in his smile. Even though half of his face is covered, his sharp eyes induce goosebumps. The caption, “In the end, they’re just goldfish that’ll greedily stick their mouths out and devour anything if you feed them,” reveals how Yum Jang Sun views others.
In another image, Heo Il Do’s cold gaze creates a chilling atmosphere. The caption, “If I repent, I have to give up what I have. I don’t want to give it up,” hints at his complex and nuanced emotions.
In the last poster, Yeo Eun Nam’s eyes convey both sadness and pride. The caption, “I don’t need love in the marriage I’m having,” hints at the other desires that Yeo Eun Nam harbors.
“Buried Hearts” will premiere on February 14 at 10 p.m. KST.
