Park Ju Hyun, Park Yong Woo, and Kang Hoon are joining forces for an exciting new project! On December 18, it was confirmed that Park Ju Hyun, Park Yong Woo, and Kang Hoon will star in JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Hunter with a Scalpel” (literal title). “The Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller that follows the story of Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant yet troubled forensic pathologist. While conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun uncovers evidence linking her father to a murder. To protect her dark past from being revealed, Se Hyun embarks on a race against time to catch her father before the police can. Park Ju Hyun takes on the role of Seo Se Hyun, whose hunt for her serial killer father forces her to confront a past she desperately wants to erase. She is expected to bring depth and complexity to her character, capturing Se Hyun’s inner turmoil and moral struggles. Park Yong Woo portrays Yoon Jo Gyun, a psychopathic serial killer obsessed with human dissection. Renowned for his standout roles in “Decision to Leave” and “Tracer,” Park Yong Woo is poised to deliver a chilling performance as a multifaceted villain. Kang Hoon plays Jung Jung Hyun, a dedicated homicide team leader who becomes entangled with Se Hyun during a murder investigation.
