Patrick is the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, who will play the Buffalo Bills later on Sunday for the AFC title. The winner, of course, will earn a slot in the 2025 Super Bowl opposite either the Philadelphia Eagles or the Washington Commanders. (The NFC championship concludes before the Chiefs vs. Bills kickoff.)
Patrick has won three previous Super Bowl championships in 2020, 2023 and 2024, respectively. Should the Chiefs win the big game next month, they will become the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
The Chiefs players arenāt considering a possible āthree-peatā just yet ā nor are they wondering whether the 2024-2025 season will be Travis Kelceās swan song.
āI have no idea. He hasnāt said anything to me if heās thinking that,ā Patrick said on Kansas Cityās 96.5 The Fan radio show earlier this week, referring to the tight end potentially calling it quits after this season. āI know he signed a two-year extension before the season. It seems like he still loves football. But he also has a great life, as well.ā
