Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce hit back at claims by NFL fans that referees have been rigging games in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are calling a flag on this rumor.
Following claims that NFL referees are rigging games in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs amid their 15-2 seasonāmost recently two forcible contact hits refs made against the Houston Texans during the game on Jan. 18āthe duo shared their thoughts on the controversy. And for Travis, that meant having brother Jason Kelce get him up to speed on everythingāincluding Lil Wayneās biting words for him.
āThe whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I'm sure you saw some of this,ā Jason began on the Jan. 22 episode of New Heights, ābut they were complaining about the refs again, Trav.ā

And he had no interest in wading into the debate as when Jason asked him about the two forcible contact hit calls in questionāwhich where hits against his QB PatrickāTravis simply said, āI plead the fifth.ā
Patrick, too, isnāt interested in adding to the discourse.

āIāve kind of learned that no matter what happens during the game, that somethingās going to come out about it if you win and you continue to win, so I donāt really pay attention to it,ā the 29-year-old said during an interview on 96.5 The Fan Jan. 21. āI mean, obviously Iāve been on both sides of it as far as how I felt the calls were made, but at the end of the day, man, those guys are doing their best to make the best calls and keep it to where the players are making the plays in the game. And thatās what decides the outcome.ā
āAnd obviously there was a call here or there that people didnāt agree with,ā Patrick continued. ābut at the same time, I think there was a lot of other plays that really decided the outcome of that football game.ā
Travis, Patrick and the Chiefs are set to face off the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26 Ā for the AFC Championship to determine if they will make their return to the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 6.
