Paul Danan's former flame, Lady Isabella Hervey, has delivered a poignant tribute to her late ex boyfriend.
The duo, who became acquainted on Celebrity Love Island, experienced an intermittent romance during their time on the programme. In a sorrowful turn of events, Paul's representatives announced his death at the age of 46 just yesterday.
His management released a heartfelt statement: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of @pauldanan at just 46 years old. Known for his television presence, exceptional talent, and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon of light to so many.
"His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him. During this difficult time, we kindly request respect and privacy for Paul's family, friends, and colleagues. No further comments will be made at this time."
Police have also issued a statement confirming the sad news: "Officers attended a property in Brislington, Bristol, at around 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 15 January) where sadly a man in his 40s was declared deceased by paramedics."
"The family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly tough time. They have requested that their privacy be respected. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being compiled for the coroner", reports the Mirror.
In the wake of this tragedy, Lady Isabella has shared a touching tribute to Paul, remarking on how he had "covered his pain well".
Isabella took to social media to express her disbelief and sorrow, sharing: "Pauly, I don't know what to tell you as I'm still in utter shock you're gone. You were the kindest/ biggest hearted person/ so thoughtful/ always making me laugh when I was going through tough times over these two years. In fact you worried a lot about me and meanwhile you were in pain."
"I wish I had known as you covered it well. You bought out the best in me on Love Island, who I truly am. You promised to visit me but now you're gone. I will hold on to the good times and your incredible sense of humour. You never failed to make me laugh so hard id cry. Rest well and I cannot comprehend this is the end. I do not want to. Bella."
In a candid revelation last year, Paul shared his harrowing near-death experience after suffering from respiratory failure.
Recounting the terrifying incident, he said: "I was dead - it's a miracle I'm here. I'm upstairs puffing away on my vape then suddenly I lost my breath and collapsed. My family called for an ambulance and started giving me CPR, then police arrived and took over before paramedics took me to hospital."
