A variety of well-known music artists are taking part in a new charity initiative that will raise money for a various causes helping those affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area. The FanAid LA event will offer fans the chance to win special experiences with or memorabilia donated by such stars as Pearl Jam, Metallica, Slash, Duran Duran, and many others.

People who donate money to the initiative via the Fandiem website will have the opportunity to win the various prizes. Among the organizations that will benefit from the fundraiser are the California Fire Foundation, Los Angeles Fire Department, Altadena Girls Fire Recovery, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and MusiCares.

Other artists taking part in the campaign include Graham Nash, My Chemical Romance, Phish, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and Sublime.

“FanAid LA embodies what Fandiem is all about—bringing fans, artists, and communities together to make a real difference,” says Fandiem CEO Jared Heiman said in a statement about the campaign. “This initiative not only supports wildfire relief efforts but also ensures the funding keeps flowing as the need continues beyond the news cycle. New FanAid LA artists and prizes will be added throughout the year, so we can sustain this effort and maximize our impact for those affected in Los Angeles.”

Here’s a look at some of the experiences and prizes being offered by the FanAid LA fundraiser:

Pearl Jam has contributed a Fender Vintera ’60s Stratocaster electric guitar signed by the band’s five current members—Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard, and Mike McCready. The prize also includes an autographed poster from a July 2006 concert the group played with Sonic Youth in L.A.

Donations will benefit Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation and its work supporting World Central Kitchen teams that are providing meals to people impacted by the wildfires.

Metallica has contributed a limited-edition signed poster from the band’s 2024 Helping Hands Concert & Auction to the sweepstakes. Donations will benefit the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund.

The Guns N’ Roses guitarist has contributed an autographed Les Paul Standard ’50s electric guitar with a tobacco sunburst finish. The instrument also features an exclusive illustration by Slash.

Donations toward the prize will benefit support the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund’s L.A. fire-relief efforts.

The British new wave legends are offering a trip for two to Rome to watch the band band’s June 15 performance at the historic at Circo Massimo. The experience includes two VIP concert tickets, a four-night hotel stay, and a Duran Duran merch pack. The winner and guest also will enjoy a guided tour of either the Colosseum, the Vatican and St. Peters Basilica, or the Pantheon.

Donations to this prize will benefit the L.A. Fire Department.

The folk-rock legend has contributed a signed Fender CD-60 acoustic guitar. Graham Nash also has written the title of his classic Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song “Teach Your Children” on the instrument.

Donations will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund’s L.A. fire-relief campaign.
