Pete Wicks stopped by This Morning with Olivia Attwood today to chat about their new radio show - but didn't bring up ex Maura Higgins' rumoured Danny Jones kiss
Pete Wicks has appeared on ITV's This Morning to chat about his new radio show with Olivia Attwood - however, those hoping that he'd speak about ex Maura Higgins' rumoured kiss with McFly's Danny Jones will be disappointed.
While Pete and Olivia briefly spoke about how they wanted to bring all the BRIT Awards gossip to their radio listeners, they steered clear of the recent reports that Danny Jones was spotted kissing I'm A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins at an after party.
Speaking to presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, Pete and Olivia opened up about their new KISS FM show The Sunday Roast. When Cat congratulated them on making it through their first show despite being hungover from the BRIT Awards the night before, Pete said: "I think that's the biggest surprise to the bosses and us, that we made it through. We hit a wall about an hour in."
Olivia added: "I would say 4pm was a low point for me on a personal level. My monitor was logged out for ten minutes and I hadn't noticed. A producer came around and she was like, 'You haven't got your script up.' I was just winging it.
"We went to the BRITs to try and get gossip to obviously then tell the listeners on the show but then we couldn't really remember much of what happened so that kind of negated that mission."
When chatting about their highlights, Pete revealed that his was seeing Jared Leto. "I'm like a Poundland Jared Leto," Pete said, while Olivia admitted that Sabrina Carpenter was her highlight. "That opening was spectacular," she said, with Pete adding: "It's the only bit that we can remember."
