Pete Wicks has taken a vicious swipe at ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins following their abrupt split last month.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 36, was in a whirlwind romance with former Love Island contestant Maura, 34, that lasted from last summer until las month. It has been claimed that Maura, who shot to fame as a contestant on Love Island in 2019, had discovered Pete had been chatting to "loads" of other women online.
Their split is also said to have come after they endured a series of rows - despite both appearing to battle to make their relationship work when it began last year. Pete had been put into a strict rehearsal regime after being signed as a contestant on the 2024 season of Strictly Come Dancing where he was partnered with Jowita Przystał.
At the same time, Maura jetted Down Under to become a contestant on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! After reuniting back in London, fans saw the pair seemingly fall for each other hard and fast - with date nights in the capital and reports that they were living together.

When asked, "What would I banish in the world?" Pete brutally replied: "Erm, Love Island." A laughing Sam then remarked: "That's so aggressive."
Offering more of an explanation, Pete said: "It takes over everything, that's all anyone talks about for f**king three months of the year. It's very difficult to have small talk with people when that's their reference because I don't know anything about it." Sam then said: "Let's be honest I can't imagine you hanging out with people who say, 'When's the nearest episode of Love Island?'." Pete then said: "No but even when I walk through the office ... just no."
Over the weekend, Maura found herself embroiled in headlines when a snap emerged of her enjoying a drunken kiss with McFly star Danny Jones - who she featured on I'm A Celeb alongside. The Star Girl singer has been married to former Miss England model Georgia Horsley since 2014 and together they share a seven-year-old son named Cooper.
On Monday, Georgia, 38, released the latest episode of her podcast, Mum's The Word - which she hosts with Kelsey Parker. Fans tuning in note she made absolutely no mention of her husband as rumours swirl that she may not be best pleased to see her pop star husband sharing a kiss with a reality star.
While Danny has not commented about the incident, he has been blasted by fans who have flooded the comments section of his Instagram posts. One disappointed fan wrote: "Oh danny you had it all man." While another typed: "Oh Danny, why?" alongside a broken heart emoji. Another, however, wrote: "I’m here for the comments" alongside an emoji of some popcorn.
