Jalen Hurts couldn't have asked for a better cheerleader.
After the quarterback led the Philadelphia Eagles to victory at the 2025 Super Bowl, his fiancée Bryonna "Bry" Burrows pulled him in for a sweet moment on the Caesers Superdome turf Feb. 9.
Jalen, still donning his team jersey, and Bry shared a deep embrace and celebratory kiss while cameras surrounded them following the monumental win, 40 - 22, against the Kansas City Chiefs in Louisiana.
Having his longtime love by his side during his shining career as QB has been a dream come true. Although Jalen prefers to keep his romance out of the spotlight, he always knew that Bry—who he met at the University of Alabama—would be the MVP in his life.
"I knew a long time ago," he told Essence in April 2023. "I mean, to this point in my life, that's an irreplaceable feeling. I think that's what allowed us to get to where we are now."

Indeed, life has been good for Jalen, who publicly debuted their relationship in 2023. After all, thanks to him and his teammates, the Vince Lombardi Trophy now has a new home again in Philadelphia.
"I'm still processing it," he told NFL on FOX on the field. "I couldn't do any of these things without my guys around me. We got a special group this year. We were able to learn from the past and get some new nice pieces and get over that hump."

After taking some time to decompress following the game, Jalen couldn't help but gush over the win, especially since the team lost to the Chiefs at the 2023 Super Bowl.
'It's been a fun ride," he gushed at the postgame press conference. "I've embraced every step. I took great pride in never backing down from a challenge—always turning my negatives into positives. Turning my weaknesses and making them my strengths. It's taken a great effort to evolve my game over time and just continue to grow and improve."

Although the evening didn't go as Patrick Mahomes had hoped, the rival quarterback shared his respect for Jalen after the game.
"I have a lot of respect for Jalen," he said postgame. "I said after the last Super Bowl we played that he'll be back. He was and he got the better of me today. I'm sure we'll face off again at some point in our careers in a big game like this."

Friendly Competition
Jalen Hurts made history when his Philadelphia Eagles and Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs faced off in the 2023 Super Bowl: It's the first time two Black signal-callers will square off on American sports' biggest stage.
The Chiefs took that one, 38-35, and the Eagles are looking to even the score. (Or, more accurately, dominate by at least one point.)

Life Before the NFL
After growing up near Houston, Jalen attended University of Alabama from 2016 to 2018 before being displaced by Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
He later transferred to the University of Oklahoma for the 2019 season, then entered the 2020 NFL draft.

Paying it Forward
When he's not throwing touchdowns, Jalen makes it a priority to volunteer with various charities. Before competing in Super Bowl 2023, Jalen was asked about facing critics in his career. "I had a purpose before anybody had an opinion," he said during a Feb. 9 press conference. "It's not about anyone else."
When reporters remained silent, the quarterback added, "Y'all know y'all liked that one."
