Plane owned by Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil involved in deadly crash
A plane owned by Mötley Crüe’s singer Vince Neil was involved in a deadly crash Monday. The singer wasn’t on board.
A Learjet 35 belonging to Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil reportedly crashed into a Gulfstream G200 said to be linked to “Wedding Crashers” star Vince Vaughn on an Arizona airport tarmac Monday.
At least one person was killed and three others were hospitalized when Neil’s aircraft veered into the parked jet belonging to Vaughn while landing at Scottsdale Municipal Airport shortly before 3 p.m., according to the Arizona’s Family news agency.

Neil was not on the plane, but TMZ reported his girlfriend Rain Hannah had several ribs broken in the collision.
Mötley Crüe confirmed Hannah was injured in a social media post that said the plane’s pilot had died.
Officials believe faulty landing gear may have been responsible for the deadly crash, which is under investigation. The airport was closed following the incident, but reopened late Monday night.
The aviation site PrivateJetClubs.com identified the Gulfstream as being registered to Vaughn.
Monday’s crash marks the nation’s third deadly aviation mishap in recents weeks.
Six people were killed on Jan. 31 when a medical transport plane with six people onboard crashed near a Philadelphia shopping mall.
Two days earlier, 67 people died in a mid-air collision between a passenger plane landing in Washington D.C. and a military helicopter. Between those crashes, President Trump appointed former Chief Operating Officer for the National Business Aviation Association Christopher James Rocheleau to serve as acting administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. Former FAA boss Mike Whitaker resigned on Inauguration Day.
U.S. airlines went 16 years without a fatal crash prior to last month, according to CNN.
