Prince Harry admits Meghan Markle left him needing 'therapy'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been together for almost nine years now but some of the duchess' actions before they went official left the duke feeling traumatised.
Prince Harry has revealed that Meghan Markle left him needing 'therapy' after he made the uncomfortable mistake of watching her intimate sex scenes with a co-star during her stint on Suits.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in May 2018 and share their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
However, when the 40-year-old royal was in the early stages of his relationship with the former Suits actress, he decided to do some digging into her past and made the unfortunate error of stumbling across sex scenes between her and Patrick J. Adams in the hit legal drama, which he admits left him needing 'electric shock therapy'.
Meghan starred as paralegal Rachel Zane in the legal drama who was in a relationship with Patrick J. Adam's character Mike Ross (Image: Shane Mahood/USA Network/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images))Writing in his tell-all memoir Spare, he penned: "I'd made the mistake of googling and watching some of her love scenes online.
"I'd witnessed her and a cast mate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room... It would take electric shock therapy to get those images out of my head. I didn't need to see such things live."
The 43-year-old played the leading role of senior paralegal Rachel Zane in Suits alongside Patrick's character, Mike Ross, whom she is dating in the show.
The two co-workers finally give in to their feelings for one another after a long build up during the season two finale which ends in them getting racy with one another on the sly inside a filing room.
Suits creator Aaron Korsch also previously revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the Royal Family demanded some changes were made to Meghan's script on the show after news of her romance with Prince Harry broke.
The duke admitted in his memoir Spare that he would need 'therapy' to forget the scenes (Image: ITV)Korsch claims the Firm refused to allow Meghan to use the word "poppycock" in the series which he found "irritating" as he had purposely included the humorous word which has a special link back to his family.
He explained: "My wife's family, when they have a topic to discuss that might be sensitive, they use the word 'poppycock'.

"So, in the episode, Mike and Rachel were going to have a thing, and as a nod to my in-laws, we were going to have her say, 'My family would say poppycock'. And the royal family did not want her saying the word."
Korsch, whose other TV credits include Everybody Loves Raymond and Notes from the Underbelly said he somewhat reasoned with the Royal Family's request but was left feeling frustrated by the turn of events.
He continued: "They didn't want to put the word 'poppycock' in her mouth. I presume because they didn't want people cutting things together of her saying 'c**k'.
"So, we had to change it to 'bulls***' instead of 'poppycock', and I did not like it because I’d told my in-laws that [poppycock] was going to be in the show."
The news comes as Prince Harry claimed a "monumental" victory over News Group Newspapers (NGN) in court today on January 22nd over allegations of unlawful information.
Prince Harry newsOn Wednesday morning, Harry's barrister David Sherborne said both parties had "reached an agreement" with NGN offering an apology to the duke and would pay "substantial damages".
The duke travelled back to the UK this week on another solo visit without Meghan Markle who has not returned to Britain since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.
